Applicants can fill out the CLAT 2026 application form without making any mistakes by following these steps:
Step 1: CLAT Registration
A notice will show up on the homepage when you visit the CLAT Consortium's official website, https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/ (see in the image below). and applicants have to click "CLICK HERE" to access the application window.
The first-time applicants must create an account by clicking on the "Don't have an account? " tab and following the guidelines. The tab is positioned on the left side of the application window.
After the account is created, just press the "Register" button.
The online CLAT 2026 application form appearing on the screen will require the following information from candidates to register:

Name: As stated on academic records (such as a certificate of completion for class 10 or a certificate of name change, if applicable).

Cell phone Number: Applicants have to provide a working cell phone number, either their own or that of their parents or legal guardians.

Password: Candidates are required to come up with a strong and safe password that has at least eight characters and contains both capital and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
Students will receive a 4-digit OTP code on their registration contact number after they click on the "Register" tab. Applicants must enter this code in the given tab to activate their CLAT login account:
Step 2: Activation of the Account
Soon after the OTP code is entered, candidates will be able to fill out the CLAT 2025 application form.
The account activation box will show the message “Account Activated”.
Next, the login page will appear, which students can use to access their account and start filling out the form.
Step 3: Completing the application
After that, candidates can complete the CLAT 2026 application form as follows using their CLAT login:
Upload photo and signature: After registering for CLAT 2026, candidates are required to upload their photo and signature. The image has to be clear and facing the front. The file format has to be jpg/jpeg only, and the signature has to be a scanned copy.
Complete the form: Applicants need to provide the following information on the application form:
Enter the name of the applicant as it appears on the class 10+2 certificate.

Those who are planning to fill out the form should know that more than 80000 candidates registered for the CLAT 2025 exam last year, out of which 62832 were for CLAT 2025 UG and 16082 were for CLAT 2025 PG. With an aggregate attendance rate of 96.33%, 60,544 UG candidates and 14,817 PG candidates actually took the exam.
