Some of the main responsibilities of the KCC ILHE’s T&P Cell include the following:

  • Campus recruitment drives: The T&P Cell is in charge of encouraging businesses to hold campus recruitment drives. This includes liaising with the businesses, setting up interviews, and offering logistical assistance.
  • Giving career advice: The T&P Cell advises students on a range of career options, employment opportunities, and market trends. They also provide training in essential soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication, each vital for thriving in professional environments.
  • Encouraging internships and industry visits: The T&P Cell also organizes internships and industry trips for students, giving them hands-on experience in the field and assisting them in better comprehending the workplace culture.
  • Database maintenance: The T&P Cell is in charge of keeping track of all students and their profiles, as well as a database of employers and their employment requirements. This enables them to align students' interests and abilities with companies' career requirements.
  • Networking with industry experts: The T&P Cell maintains an active network of industry experts and professionals, inviting them to mentor students, give career advice, and give guest lectures.
