GGSIPU BJMC Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate*
All applicants are required to have cleared English as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam .
Minimum Percentage Required: General category candidates must have scored at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate. As for the candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ Persons with Disability/ Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel category, there is a provision of 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement. 
Admissions through CUET
The admissions are done strictly on merit through a Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Therefore, a student can attend the counseling for further admission process only when he/she satisfies the above mentioned criteria and also qualifies the CUET of GGSIPU.
Admissions through Management Quota
The Institute also conducts admission for 10% seats under management quota which is done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination and CUET-GGSIPU Rank.

The BJMC programme is divided into six semesters. Each semester comprises of practical and theoretical subjects, so the student is familiar with both the aspect of the course.

Each academic session of the course is divided into two semesters (August-December & January-May). In each semester examination and evaluation is carried out according to the scheme laid down by the University. Every paper is of 100 marks.

A BJMC graduate can expect to earn between INR 5 and 6 lakhs per year on average. There are few restrictions on the types of jobs available to BJMC graduates. The raise or increment is determined by an individual's skills and experience.
Media Consultant 
He or she is the person hired by the company or organization to obtain favorable press coverage. They essentially create media releases in order to reframe public perception. They present their ideas for improving the company's image and positioning the company as the leading media organization.
A journalist is essentially self-employed (freelance). They could also work for a newspaper, radio station, or television show. They collect information for broadcasting purposes such as political news, sports news, entertainment updates, and so on.
Content Marketing Manager 
A content marketing manager's primary responsibility is to implement comprehensive content-delivery plans that include print, video, audio, and other forms of content. Their goal is to improve the company's marketing strategies.
Public Relations Specialist 
Their goal is to serve as a liaison between the employer and the general public. They build trusting relationships with their clients and strive to keep them for the long term. They are the organization's public faces.
Manager of Social Media
He basically represents a company as the brand's voice across various channels and will also respond to all comments, compile campaigns, and create content. Their goal is to increase the number of people who see the company's social media pages.

Scholarships and Fee Structure (By Centre & State Government)

As prescribed by GGSIP University

Scholarships based on class 12th score
  • 90% and above in eligibility subjects - 50% of the first year course fee
  • 85%-89% in eligibility subjects - 25% of the first year course fee.
  • 80%-84% in eligibility subjects - 15% of the first year course fee

* This scholastic scholarship is granted only inthe first year

NOTE- Relaxation of 5% to girl students on the above mentioned percentage.

Sports Scholarship
  • Zonal Zonal Level Player : 5% of fee each year
  • State State Level Player : 10% of fee each year
  • National National Level Player : 15% of fee each year
Defence Scholarship

Children of defence personnel's are ofered scholarship to the extent of 10% of fee each semester. The student has to produce card of his parent at the time of admission as a proof of service. The scholarship is also offered to wards of Ex-servicemen.
