IPU CET 2022 Registration has started online from march 4, 2022 and the last date to apply for various UG & PG programs in IP University has been extended till 31st May 2022. Applicants must note that IPU CET eligibility criteria vary from program to program. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been established by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India under Section 2 (f) and 12 (b) of the UGC Act. The University was graded as "A" by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore for the period 2013 to 2018.

IPU CET 2022 Overview:
IPU CET 2022 will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IPU CET 2022 is a university level entrance exam conducted every year for entry into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered by the university. Candidates from all over India can apply for this exam.
IPU CET 2022 Syllabus
The IPU CET syllabus will different as per the Programs. For Under Graduate courses, the syllabus will be from 12th level and for Post Graduate courses, the syllabus will be from graduate level topics.

IPU CET 2022 Preparation Tips

IPU CET 2022 Exam Pattern

IPU CET 2022 Admit Card
The university will release the admit card of IPU CET 2022 for the registered candidates to download in 1st week on may 2022. Candidates must note that the IPU CET 2022 admit card is the mandatory document that has to be carried in the exam hall.
No students are allowed to appear in the exam without the IPU CET admit card 2022. Candidate must carry two printouts of the hall tickets with the passport size photograph pasted on both of them.

Important Instructions Regarding Exam Centre:

Candidates will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall after the commencement of IPU CET 2022
-
No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the prescribed time of the CET exam.
-
Candidates should leave IPU CET Exam Center only after handing over OMR answer sheet and test booklet to the Invigilator.
If any candidate is found using any unfair means or does not maintain discipline during the conduct of the Common Entrance Test, the University will take necessary disciplinary action against such candidates.
No candidate should carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers or any other material except IPU CET Admit Card inside the examination hall.

IPU CET 2022 Counselling fee structure and Process:
Application form fees is Rs/ 1000 at the time of filling the form.
Submission of counselling participation fee:
A. Candidate has to deposit a fee Rs 1000/-plus charges as applicable, as one time (non-refundable) Counselling Participation Fee, as per the schedule for every CET Code. The taxes and charges applicable has to be paid by the candidate and is non-refundable.
B. For depositing the Counselling Participation Fee, the candidate has to visit the GGSIP University admission website http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in and select the option for “payment of counselling participation fee”, enter CET details viz CET Roll No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number.
C. After submission of the details, the candidate will get two options of payment: I. Cash payment (challan will be generated and fee may be deposited through cash in any branch of Indian Bank) ii.Net Banking /Credit Card and Debit Card.
D. The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment on the website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in) and must take the printout of online fee confirmation receipt with the transaction details, to be retained for all future reference. In case of payment of fee through Challan, the applicant must retain the copy of the Challan after depositing the fees.
Registration
A .After confirmation of receipt of the Counselling Participation Fee, for the specific CET code for which the candidate has qualified and paid the fees, candidate has to register within the Registration period notified on the website.
B. In case of Payment of Fee through Challan, candidate can register only after two working days of cash deposited in any branch of Indian Bank.
C. For Registration, candidate has to enter CET details in the admission website (http://www.ipuadmissions.nic.in) and after authentication, the candidate has to enter his/her personal /academic /contact details (with address, mobile no. & email ID).
D. During the Registration procedure, the candidate will get login ID and password.
Choice Filling
A. Choice filling is compulsory for allotment of seat. Candidate won’t be considered for online allotment of seat without the filled in choices/preferences.
B.After registration, candidate has to fill choices for allotment, from the list of all possible combinations of all institutes and courses available, in the order of his/her preference, during the choice filling period.
C. Once the period for filling of choices/preferences is over, choices/preferences filled by candidate will be used for allotment of seat.
Result / Allocation of Seats in every round
A. After the choice filling period is over, all the choices/preferences filled by the candidate will be considered for online allotment of seat as per merit and respective category and region.
B. All such candidates, as listed below, will not be considered for allotment of seat:
I. Candidates who haven’t paid the counselling participation fee,
ii. Paid the counselling participation fee but not registered,
iii. Paid the counselling participation fee and registered but not filled choices/preferences.
iv. Candidates who were assigned a seat in any round but didn’t pay the part academic fees of INR 40000/= shall not be considered in subsequent round of counselling.
v. Candidates who are allocated a seat in any round, pay the part academic fee of INR 40000/=, and then withdrew the admission following due procedure of the University.
Note: Such candidates however shall be eligible for the “Spot Counselling” round.
Freezing of Allotted Seat after every Round
A.After every round of Counselling, if the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him and does not want to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling for up-gradation, he/she can freeze his/her allotted seat by clicking the freeze option available in his/her account in the counselling website within the specified time period.
B. If the candidate doesn’t freeze the allotted seat, the next higher preference may be allotted to him/her automatically in the next round subject to availability of seats, and the candidate will not be allowed to retain the earlier allotment under any circumstances.
Reporting of candidates to the allotted institute/college:
A. After the sliding round of online seat allotment, the candidate, if allotted a seat/retained the seat from earlier allotment/upgraded to higher choices/preferences, and if he/she has made the payment of part Academic Fee of Rs 40,000/-, he can generate Provisional Admission Slip along with the Enrollment number.
B.The Candidate are required to report and join the respective School/college with the Admission Slip, the Provisional Allotment Letter, the Academic Fee Receipt and the necessary record for verification of documents at the School / institution/college and pay the balance amount of fees (if any), as per schedule notified on the website, failing which the admission shall be automatically cancelled.
C. The institutions / University Schools of Studies shall report the status of reported and non-reported candidate’s to the University. The vacant seats after the sliding round of online counselling and seats vacant due to non-reporting of candidates only shall be considered for spot counselling to be conducted by 31stJuly, of the admission year.
Spot Round Counselling
A. The spot counselling shall be conducted offline, at designated centres by the University.
B. This round shall be held after completion of the admission process, only for the purpose of filling up vacancies, if any.
C. After completion of all rounds of online counselling „Spot Counselling? shall be done offline. All eligible applicants desirous of participating in the “Spot Counselling” shall have to pay a counselling (separate) participation fee. The participation fees in the “Spot Counselling” shall be INR 2000/= (non-refundable / transferable).
D. The “Spot Counselling” shall be done for vacancies remaining after reporting of allocated candidates to Schools of Studies / Colleges / institutions allotted (see Section 10) and arising during the process of “Spot Counselling” as enumerated below.
Since, all conversions of categories / region-wise divisions are completed in the last round of online counselling (Section 11.8), the spot counselling shall consider all seats to be filled as unreserved.
E. The vacant seats left after reporting /admission of candidates to institutions only shall be considered for filling in the spot counselling.
F. Any CET qualified candidates who have not taken admission in the rounds of Online counselling will be eligible to participate in the spot counselling, against the available vacant seat (if any).
G. The candidates who are allotted seat in rounds of online counselling and have paid the part Academic Fee of Rs 40,000/-to confirm admission in any institute/ college and have also reported to the concerned University School of Study / college / institutions will be treated as “admitted” at the time of Spot Counselling.
Such candidates, if they desire to participate in the “Spot Counselling” shall be required to pay a transfer fees of INR 5000/=, these candidates shall be considered as per their rank only, if they do not appear at the time of counselling for their rank, they shall not be allowed to participate.
Filling of seats (if any) after Spot Counselling
A. If any seats are left vacant (out of the seats reported as vacant, after the reporting of “admitted / allocated” candidates to concerned University School of Study / College / Institution and taken to the spot counselling phase for filling up) out of the seats considered in the spot counselling, the procedure for filling up these seats shall be notified by 4thof August, of the admission year by the University.
If a seat has been allotted to the candidate then then have to pay Rs. 40, 000/- to confirm their seats as a part of academic fee.
Candidates who wish to participate in the spot round of counselling have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 2000/-.
Candidate who wish to change their college after getting a college in the slide round has to pay a fee of Rs. 5000/.
• Academic fee of Rs/ 40000 will be adjustable in their first year college fee.

**** We have provided the candidates with details about the marking scheme of IPU CET 2022 in the pointers below:

IPU CET 2022 question paper will be objective-type in nature.
-
For each question, four options will be provided, out of which candidates will have to choose only one appropriate answer.
-
Four marks will be allotted for every correct answer.

There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

No marks will be deducted for an unmarked answer.
-
Marking more than one option will be treated as an incorrect response.
How to Check the IPU CET Result
IPU CET 2022 result are going be declared separately for each programme by the GGSIPU officials. Those who will appear in the GGS IPU CET 2022 entrance exam in the coming months will be able to check their scores in the IPU CET 2022 result card once it is available on the official website.
The GGS IPU CET 2022 result card will contain various details of the candidates such as their name, the rank scored by them in the IPU CET exam (Category-Wise), merit position, cut off scores etc.
In order to check how they have perform in the entrance exam, the candidates have to download the IPU CET 2022 result card from the official website using their IPU CET 2022 roll number mentioned on the IPU CET admit card.
IPU CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
As there will be multiple courses of studies offered by GGIPU through its IPU CET 2022, the eligibility criteria will also vary extensively for the said offered courses. Applicants are strictly advised to check their eligibility criteria before proceeding with the application form filling for IPU CET 2022.

Eligibility Requisites for Graduate Courses: Candidates applying for IPU CET 2022 in order to seek admission in graduate courses like B.Tech or BBA will have to maintain a minimum aggregate of 55% in their 10+2.
Lateral Entry for Diploma holders in B.Tech: Candidates applying for lateral entry admission should have the following-

Must have completed 3 years diploma in their chosen field of engineering

IPU CET 2022 Application Process:
Candidates willing to apply will have to take care of all the details provided while filling in IPU CET 2022 application form. They have to make sure that any details they fill in or the supporting documents that they give are authentic and true to their standing.
Below are the general instructions to be followed while registering online and filling in IPU CET 2022 application form:
1). Visit Website: Candidates will have to first visit the official website, as given at the bottom of our page.
2). Register: Once directed to the homepage, they will have to fill in two separate forms. The first form will carry personal details like Candidate’s Name, Address, Category, and other general details like his/her qualification details.
3). Candidate’s Mobile No. and Email ID: In the process of filling the first form, candidates will have to give in their working mobile number and a valid email id.
4). Login Credentials: Once the first form is filled, login details in the form of Candidate login ID and Password will be provided to the candidate. This login detail is to be used to proceed with the second form.

Course Choice Form: In the second form, candidates will have to provide their list of preferred colleges and courses combination. This will be later used for allotment of seats later on during the admission process. A candidate will not be allowed to apply for the same course twice.

Payment: Once the application form has been filled, candidates will have to make the application fee payment.
Note: Candidates will have to mention their 12 digit Aadhaar Card number while filling in the application form. They are also advised to keep two uploaded copies of a recent colored photograph which will be needed during application form filling process.
IPU CET 2022 Delhi / Outside Delhi Reservation Region
Delhi Quota: 85% of total sanctioned seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region. Candidates who have passed class 12 from any school/ institute in Delhi or from any college/institute affiliated from GSSIPU University fall under this category. Seats will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s performance in IPU CET 2022.These seats are further divided in following category

IPU CET 2022 Scholarship
Yes there are scholarship available for economically backward students in all the affiliated colleges of GGSIPU. Apart from this there are other scholarships schemes but that depends upon the college to college.
The eligible students of GGSIP University are advised to fill the application form online through E district web portal of Delhi Government for Merit -Cum-Means Financial Assistance Scheme (https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in) launched by government of NCT of Delhi for the year 2019-20. Students can also use the link available on the university’s website for applying under Merit-Cum-Means Financial Assistance Scheme.
The last date/ closing date for Submission of online application form is 31st December 2022.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University aspirants usually know how that there is a Common Entrance Test which takes place in order to take admissions to the colleges of IPU. It is important for the students to prepare themselves in advance in order to score well and secure a seat in a good college and course of their choice. There are many samples available online for students to prepare for the examination and students must solve at least a few papers in order to understand the exam pattern well. It will give them a clear idea of how the IP exam pattern is and will boost up their confidence level.
For undergraduate level there are many courses available under IPU that you can choose from the options are BAMS, BHMS, BDS, BA, BBA, Bcom Hons, LLB, BJMC, BCA and B.ED. There are over 70 colleges affiliated to IPU and students prepare for the entrance exam well in advance in order to secure their seat in best colleges of IPU. There are around 8k-9k seats available in IPU for their undergraduate courses. The selection of the colleges happens based on student’s CET score & Rank. The students are provided colleges through IPU counselling, the allocations of colleges are based on the rank a student has scored along with the distance. As GGSIPU is Delhi’s state university, students from Delhi are given morepreference than students from outside Delhi/NCR. It is said that 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students and rest 15% for outside candidates.
IPU CET is a 100 marks exam, the mode of the exam is Online, and the total duration of the exam is 02:30 hours. The questions are multiple choice questions and there are 100 questions, the exam is divided into 4 sections and consists of a total of 400 marks, for every correct answer the student can earn 4 points and 1 wrong answer can deduct 1 point. The exam will be conducted in English Language. Students will have to check the correct answer when marking your choice of answer.
