How Do I Choose a Subject Combination for DU CUET?

Candidates must submit the CUET subject combination in accordance with the DU course eligibility specified above while completing the CUET 2026 application form. For the CUET, candidates may select up to five subjects, including one or two languages and three or four domain subjects, such as the General Test.  Candidates should take heed of the following crucial tactics when choosing DU CUET subjects:

  • Candidates must match their CUET subjects with their 12th-grade coursework. It is a crucial requirement for admission to DU.
  • Candidates are required to select the disciplines in which they excel. The candidate's chances of performing well on the test can be increased by choosing what interests them.
  • Candidates need to think about their job interests and what they want to study in college. If an applicant wishes to study physics, for instance, they must map Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and any CUET topic.
  • Find out how the DU CUET test operates. Understand the questions and the highest scores.
  • Speak with instructors, career counsellors, or students who have already taken the DU CUET exam. They may offer valuable advice on selecting the appropriate themes and share their expertise.

DU CUET Subject Combination 2026: Subject Combination Correction

During the CUET form correction session from February 9 to 11, 2026, candidates were allowed to change their DU CUET subject combination for 2026. Within the allotted correction time, enrolled students may add or modify CUET courses, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA).

However, candidates had to pay the relevant extra charges of INR 400 per subject (General), INR 375 per subject (OBC-NCL/EWS), and INR 350 per subject (SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender) if they chose more than 3 subjects.

Apart from this, NTA also opened a special subject change window from April 17 to 19, 2026, to allow candidates to change their chosen subjects.

Because CUET subject selections significantly affect admission prospects, it is crucial to carefully choose subjects based on Delhi University course eligibility requirements.

What is the Minimum Score Needed for DU in CUET?

A minimum score of 480 out of 800 on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is required to get admitted to Delhi University (DU).

However, as you must satisfy the cut-off scores for the selected course at DU, obtaining the minimum score does not ensure admission.

Each undergraduate program at Delhi University may have different CUET qualifying requirements.
