B. Tech in computer science and information technology (CS & IT) at KCC Institute of Technology and Management covers many foundational topics in Electrical engineering, mathematics, and linguistics. Over the past three decades, computer science and information science have become distinct engineering disciplines after previously being taught as components of engineering or mathematics departments.

B Tech. Computer Science and Information Technology is a full-time, 4-year, undergraduate program designed to produce driven, creative, and enthusiastic graduates who can fill ICT jobs in a variety of industries and who can conceptualize, create, analyse, and implement ICT applications to satisfy contemporary demands.

The most cutting-edge theoretical ideas and practical skills in the field are taught in our B.Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology program. Students who participate in this program gain the critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills necessary for a seamless transition from school to the business world. To broaden their scope of work, students are also taught trans-disciplinary subjects and attitude training.

After completing the B.Tech (Computer Science and Information Technology) degree successfully at KCC Institute of Technology and Management, graduates will be qualified to:

  • Utilize your understanding of science, math, and engineering principles to solve computer science and information technology problems.
  • Use the fundamentals of mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering sciences to identify, create, review, and analyse difficult engineering problems to draw well-supported conclusions.

  • Information security analyst: By keeping an eye out for security flaws and breaches in their company's network and developing contingency plans in case of an attack, IT security analysts try to stop Cyberattacks.
  • Network architect: Also known as a network engineer, these IT specialists plan and construct communication networks, including intranets, wide area networks (WANs), and local area networks (LANs).
  • Computer support specialist: Support experts assist businesses and people with software-related inquiries by offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance.

Course Fees

The overall cost of B. Tech Computer Science and Information Technology at KCC Institute of Technology and Management is INR 4,58,400. The entire fee can be paid in instalments of INR 57,300 per semester using debit/credit cards, UPI, mobile banking, etc. 

 

Eligibility of B.Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology for admission in B. Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Admission Procedure of B.Tech Computer Science and Information Technology College
Admission to the B.Tech. Computer Science and information Technology would be done on the basis of JEE 2025 & 10+2. Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counseling.
NRI Seats
5% of the management seats would be available for NRI candidates. NRI seats would be filled up as per AICTE and University norms i.e. by NRIs who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from an institute situated outside India provided such qualification is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.

Scholarship based on class XIIth score
  • 90% and above in eligiblity subjects - 100% of semester fee
  • 80%-89% in eligiblity subjects - 50% of semester fee.
  • 75%-79% in eligiblity subjects - 25% of semester fee
  • 70%-74% in eligiblity subjects - 15% of semester fee

* This scholastic scholarship is granted only in the first Semester

Sports Scholarship
  • Zonal Zonal Level Player : 5% of fee each year
  • State State Level Player : 15% of fee each year
  • National National Level Player : 25% of fee each year
Defence Scholarship

Children of defence personnel's are ofered scholarship to the extent of 10% of fee each semester. The student has to produce card of his parent at the time of admission as a proof of service. The scholarship is also offered to wards of Ex-servicemen.
