CUET UG 2026 Result for admission in various Universities
a) A candidate does not automatically have the right to admission to the selected university by just appearing on the CUET (UG) - 2026.
b) The candidate applies and is subject to selection based on meeting the requirements for acceptance, eligibility, quality in the list of eligibility, medical eligibility, confirmation of original documents, and other methods as determined by the University.
b) Admission at Central University based on CUET 2026 will be determined according to the programs offered. The appropriate CUs will declare a mentoring/entry schedule and a list of skills based on the CUET (UG) points - 2026 and other pertinent University approaches after the NTA announces the CUET (UG) result - 2026.
Candidates are recommended to consult the University website, as outlined following the announcement of the CUET (UG) result 2026, for all procedures and questions relating to admission.
d) The NTA is not involved in the creation of the Merit List for the CUET UG 2026 Results.
How will the CUET UG 2026 scores be determined?
Step 1: There are two shifts of examiners:
The candidates must be randomly divided into two sessions, each with around the same number of applicants. Candidates will be distributed equally, whether there are more or fewer shifts available on any given day.
By doing this, it will be ensured that the number of students assigned to write tests is not compromised. Furthermore, considering the vast number of inspectors spread around the country, the likelihood of such prejudice is still very much present.
Step 2: Adjusting the session results:
The test scores for each session will be adjusted in step two so that immature schools receive Green Points % Total Points.
The percentage will be calculated using the following formulas for each candidate in the Session:
No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUALS TO OR LESS than T1score / Total Number of candidates appeared in session.
Step 3: Combining result preparation with NTA schools
NTA scores—which will be utilized for the compilation of results and subsequent processing—are percentage points for the entire Green School indicated in Step 2 above at all times (Session 1: Day 1 Shift-1, Session 2: Day 1 Shift-2).
Step 4: CUET Exam Normalization
Normalization is required to resolve conflicts arising from students receiving difficult questions on the test compared to those who receive fairly straightforward ones, due to variations in question papers. Conflicts arise as a result, and candidates start to lose faith in the council.
As a result, there was a greater-than-usual requirement for aspirants to make the circumstances more typical during the CUET testing.
If the student's paper set is difficult, the commission may add 10 or 5 points to the student's total score as a result of CUET Exam Normalization. In a similar vein, if a set of papers seems excessively simple, the commission will subtract 10 or 5 points from the student's final score.
RE-EVALUATION/RE-CHECKING OF CUET UG 2026 RESULT
a) The final answer keys will be used to process the CUET (UG) - 2026 result. Following the announcement of the CUET (UG) 2026 results, no complaints regarding the Answer Key(s) will be considered.
b) The candidate's marks will be taken into further consideration when calculating the CUET (UG) 2026 outcome.
c) The results shall not be reevaluated or rechecked. No course of action will be considered in that direction.
d) No score reports will be sent to applicants, and they are recommended to download their CUET (UG) - 2026 score reports from the website at https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.
What comes after the CUET 2026 Result?
Each participating university will issue an application for admission to undergraduate CUET courses following the release of the CUET UG Result. Candidates must apply online via the official website of the relevant university.
Universities will then announce their cutoff and merit list for admission. The chosen candidates will then be required to submit the necessary documents and pay the applicable fee to complete the admissions process. Depending on the number of open seats, the participating universities may produce two or more cut-off lists.
