How to calculate the IPU CET 2026 Score?
Students must compute their grades after downloading the answer key. Students need to be aware of the marking scheme to determine their IPU CET score. Candidates can see the IPU CET marking scheme below:
• There are 100 questions in all.
• The test has 400 total points.
• Four points will be given for each correct response.
• One mark will be subtracted for each wrong response.
For example, if a candidate completed 80 questions (80*4 = 320) and 70 of the answers were right and 10 were incorrect, the test's final score would be 80*4 - 10*5 = 270.
How to download and challenge the IPU CET 2026 answer key?
The official university website hosts the IPU CET 2026 answer keys for the most recent exams available for download via the login portal. In addition to their question paper and recorded responses, candidates can use the answer key to determine their likely score and object if they find any errors or discrepancies.
They can hold the authorities accountable for mistakes like marking a wrong answer, an incorrect option list, multiple correct answers, or a lack of any correct option. In case the objection is found accurate, students will receive full marks for the question. The fee (Rs 200 per objection) paid to raise objections is non-refundable, regardless of whether the objection is successful.
Once the objections are resolved, a final answer key will be released, which will act as a bedrock for determining the final IPU CET 2026 results, after which no request for re-verification will be entertained.
• Visit the official website: Go to the GGSIPU's official webpage.
• Sign in: To access the candidate portal, enter your registration information, such as your application number, user ID, and password.
• Locate the link to the answer key: Search for and click on a link pertaining to the IPU CET answer key.
• View and Download: It will show the answer key PDF for your particular course and exam date. Save it after downloading it.
• Determine your score: Cross-check your answers using the answer key, then use the official marking scheme to determine your score.
• Raise objections: As in past exams, you can contest the provisional answer key if you're not happy with it by paying a fee (for example, INR 200 per question) and submitting supporting documentation.
