IPU CET 2024 Application Process: Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University is a state level university providing quality education to the students for many years now. This has been the sole motto of IPU and considers it as a privilege that people at IPU are getting immense opportunities to outshine the name of the country. Many students have made flourishing careers after studying at IPU.

The reason behind this is that at IPU, students are not selected or Judged on the basis of their Marks. They are carefully handpicked on the groundwork of their talent and knowledge gained throughout their school life. This means that students are propelled towards giving more emphasis on their learning rather than on cramming.

All this is made possible when GGSIPU Conducts an All India University Level Entrance Exam for the students to select for the various courses offered by them.

Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, conducts an all India University Level Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into its various undergraduate, postgraduate and Diploma Programs.

Admission into various Courses in IPU for the session commencing in the year 2024 will be held on the basis of IPU CET 2024 that will be held in the Month of April- May 2022 (To be announced). These Exams are organized every year only once to offer Admissions into various UG and PG programs.

The application form for IPU CET 2024 will be released in an online mode on the official website of GGSIPU. Students must fill this form within the stipulated time given by the University. The official notification of the form will be released in the month of February 2024.

IPU CET 2024 Application Process

Candidates who are willing and more inclined towards doing courses from IPU must necessarily fill the Application Process of IPU CET of the year 2024. This is Compulsory. Students Failing to do so cannot be admitted in any college affiliated to IPU.

The application form for the respective courses will be out by the month of February 2024. Students must strictly fill the form within the designated time for their respective courses.

While filling the form candidates must be very careful as all the information should be declared and whatever is stated in the application form should be true and authentic. Candidates will have to make sure that any details they fill in or the supporting documents that will be attached should be legitimate and reliable.

Some general instructions that are to be followed by the students while filling the Application form are-

Official Website- Candidates must first visit the official website and go through the necessary directions of filling the form.

IPU CET Registration Procedure

Registration- Once Candidates are directed to the official website They will have to fill in two separate forms. The first form will be the registration form. In this registration form the candidates will have to fill in personal details such as, candidates Name, gender, Address (permanent/temporary), parent’s name, category, qualification details, phone Number, Email ID, etc.

Students must make sure that the phone number and Email Id provided by them in the Application form is valid and active as all the necessary further information will be communicated through this only.

Uploading of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression: Scanned Photograph, Signature, and Left-Hand Thumb Impression shall be uploaded. The specification required for the photograph and signature is given-

Login Credentials- Once the candidates fill the first form, login details such as candidate login Id and password will be provided to them. This login Id is to be used to proceed further with the second form.

Course Choice Form- In the Second form, Candidates will have to provide a list of preferred colleges and course combination. This will be used later on for allotment of seats during the admission process. A candidate will not be allowed to apply for the same course twice.

IPU CET 2024 Payment Process

Payment- Once the application form has been filled, candidates will have to make the application fee payment.

The application fee for IPU CET 2024 is Rs. 1200 for all the candidates. Applicants can make payment of application fee through debit/credit card/ net banking. The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Students must fill the application form correctly as no correction will be allowed after the form submission. However, in case of mistake, student can submit a physical form by paying a certain amount of fee.

IPU CET 2023 Delhi / Outside Delhi Reservation Region

Delhi Quota: 85% of total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region. Candidates who have passed class 12 from any school/ institute in Delhi or from any college/institute affiliated from GSSIPU University will fall under this category. Seats will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s performance in IPU CET 2024.

Outside Delhi Quota: 15% of total seats are reserved for outside Delhi Candidates. Candidates who have done class 12th from school/Institute from outside Delhi fall under this category.

Candidates from all over India can apply for this exam. The exam is conducted all over India with centers in the cities such as Ambala, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur Kolkata, Lucknow, Siliguri and many more cities. Candidates can choose the center of their choice according to their need and convenience during the filling of IPU CET 2024 application form.

IPU CET 2024 Admit cards will be issued to all the candidates whose application form will be accepted, one week prior to the date of the exam. Admit card will be made available once the application form filling process is over. Intimation of the Admit cards will be done Online on the official website only

Test Paper and marking Scheme

The test paper will consist of 150 objective questions. Each question will have 4 alternate options, out of which only 1 option will be the right answer. Student has to select this and mark their response on the OMR Answer sheet that will be provided to the students. Each question will carry four marks.

There will be negative marking for each wrong answer in which 1 mark will be deducted. No marks will be deducted for unanswered question.

Total Time that will be provided to the candidates will be 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.

Result for IPU CET 2024 will be declared in an online mode. The result will be prepared in the form of merit/rank of each said candidate who appeared for IPU CET 2022. This result card is to be printed by the said candidate and saved for further counseling rounds. The candidates are instructed to keep the admit card very carefully for the counseling round.

Candidates appearing for any round of counseling, will have to carry a few mandatory documents along with them. These are to be carried both in original along with two photocopies of each document which is to be submitted in the respective colleges.
