Details are as below:
Verification of Documents and Allotments of Seats

The IPU CET 2026 counseling registration process has begun at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, starting from June 10, 2026. Candidates who meet the requirements may now register for IPU CET counseling 2026 for B.Tech admissions through June 17 (11 PM).
Candidates must pay INR 2500 online during IPU CET counseling for BTech courses. In accordance with government requirements, they will also need to upload the necessary paperwork. Counseling for BTech Lateral Entry is also accepting registrations.
The complete schedule for the IPU CET online counselling has been released on the official website. The choice-filling process started on June 11, 2026, and the seat allocation opening date is June 12, 2026, while the closing dates will be released soon for round 1.
The seat freezing and fee payment started from June 11 to 16, 2026, while verification of documents will continue from June 12 to 17, 2026. Students can withdraw from the admission process from June 12 to 17, 2026.
The first IPU CET 2026 offline counselling continued from May 19 to June 12, 2026, while the second round of counselling is currently ongoing, which started from May 28 to June 26, 2026.
On the other hand, GGSIPU will conduct offline counselling for PG courses from June 18 to July 28 in the first round and from June 18 to August 13, 2026, in the second round of counselling.
The results for the IPU CET exams held from April 25 to May 23, 2026, were released in various slots on May 3, 10, 17, 22, and 27, along with their final answer keys, depending on the exams conducted on various days. The exams that took place on May 23 had their results and final answer key released on May 27, 2026.
The provisional keys were released on the same day, soon after each exam was conducted, immediately commencing the challenge window for 3-days, starting from the day of each exam. The final challenge window was concluded on May 27, 2026, for exams held on May 23, 2026.
The IPU CET counselling 2026 consists of multiple steps, such as registration, fee payment, option filling, locking, seat assignment, etc. Candidates who cleared the IPU CET 2026 exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process for UG and PG courses.
The merit list for applicants who made their way into the IPU CET rank list has their names and ranks being released in June 2026, along with the cut-off marks for admission in UG and PG courses. Candidates will have to attend multiple rounds of the IPU CET 2026 counselling, depending on their rank.
IPU CET 2026 counselling is being conducted in both offline/online modes for admission to courses, including BBA, BCA, B.Com, BJMC, BHMCT, MBA, MCA, M.Com, B.Sc., BA, MA, B.Ed, M.Ed, etc.
The counselling fee for IPU CET 2026 is INR 1000 for all categories, which is paid along with the registration fee of INR 1500 at the time of registration. This means that for the majority of UG and PG courses, the total cost of IPU CET registration is INR 2500, which is non-refundable.
However, the B.Tech aspirants will have to pay the additional counselling fee of INR 1000 to attend the counselling rounds because mainstream engineering admissions are based on JEE Main results, not IPU CET, except for B.Tech in Biotechnology and B.Tech Lateral Entry.
IPU CET exam provides admission to engineering courses such as B.Tech (Biotechnology), B.Tech Lateral Entry programs for Diploma holders, Lateral Entry to B.Tech programs for BSc Graduates, and many more.
Students who wish to apply for engineering courses must submit their JEE Main results and fill out their choices online while registering for the centralized IPU B.Tech counselling.
Similar to B.Tech courses, law aspirants will have to pay INR 1000 separately to attend the IPU law counselling for admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLB, LLM, and more, based on the CLAT results.
Students seeking admission to medical courses in MBBS/BDS will have to wait for the NEET 2026 re-exam, which is rescheduled to take place on June 21, 2026. It was cancelled over allegations of the paper leak. GGSIPU will not use any other entrance exam or conduct its own exam for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
Here, you can check the expected IPU CET 2026 counselling dates, key highlights, counselling process, counselling fee, and more.
